Welcome to our blog!

Amelia and I decided it's finally time to get the blog started!  (Well, actually, we decided a few weeks ago, and now I am finally getting around to getting it started!)  Blogstalking is one of my hobbies, since I find it a quick way to keep updated on friends and family, as well as to find old friends and see what they've been up to in life.

We are 47 days away from our wedding day, and it can't come fast enough!  I'm excited for the day, but probably more excited to finally be able to be with Amelia and start our life together!  We have many exciting adventures ahead of us, and many "firsts" to continue to enjoy - first apartment, first dog, first army duty station, first trip together to New York City, first child, first grandchild, first Wii game, and on and on!

When I created the blog, I used a few posts from an older blog I had made when I first moved to California.  I wanted to see what the layout looked like, but also figured I could leave them up to give you something to read until we get more of our life together on here.  Enjoy!
